The above link is to the final report from the US Geological Survey which concludes that the United States may be facing much more rapid climate change than previously thought as discussed in
this page from the
Huffington Post.
Whether or not climate change, specifically global warming, is taking place is plainly a matter of controversy to many. Thus our vain and foolish future king Charles is of the opinion it is already taking place as a result of planting genetically modified food crops while on the other hand the noted satirist and butterfly expert Christopher Booker vehemently opposes the idea and studies obsessively each and every minute blip that appear on the warmist charts.
Somewhere in between we have what you might call the YouTube opinion to the effect that Annie Lennox says it does and so we should all as a matter of urgency text and blog each other to get something fucking well done about it right now (and when I say right now I fucking well mean like fucking right now).
And then there's what scientists think, that vast body of individuals selflessly dedicated to the pursuit of truth who have no vested interest in advancing what they say, no job to hold down, no academic position to secure, no family to support, and if they do will glady sacrifice them all on the alter of reason in the interest of truth, and whose pure and unsullied contribution we all ignore at our peril.
In brief GutClean has no opinion on whether global warming is presently taking place but we are convinced that carbon emissions should be curtailed globally and incidentally it hasn't by any means escaped our attention that embracing carbon emission technologies appears to be the only sensible way forward so far proposed to restore our battered economy.
Addressing young people especially we once again passionately implore you not to make the mistake of taking refuge in scientism: better by far, by far far better, Annie Booker and Charles than the naive and ridiculous ABCs of scientist dogma - thus D for dawk.
