Dear Mrs. H*****,
I quote (with approximate rendition of
the screaming):
THIS
ADDRESS IS UNLICENSED
YOUR
DETAILS ARE BEING PASSED
TO
OUR ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
Despite being sent
previous reminders, you still have not purchased a new TV license.
etc. etc.
Thus today's communication from TV
Licensing TM.
TV Licensing TM
has not responded to the request for informations I made. They
plainly do not give a fig for my complaint that they have intruded
upon my privacy, that they have criminalised me, that they have
threatened and cajoled me, and they continue to do so despite my
registering in the strongest possible terms my sense of outrage.
I am indeed busy. I expect to be
through with my current investigations by the end of August after
which point I will file suit against TV Licensing TM.
I shall pursue punitive damages. On
reflection a suitable scale would be the benefit presumably accruing
to the BBC from the 1,000 or so license evaders that TV Licensing TM
claim to catch daily i.e. 135,000 pounds sterling daily. This letter should
reach TV Licensing TM by this Friday
current and TV Licensing TM may have a
week to decide finally how to accommodate me after which point, i.e.
commencing Good Friday April 6th 2007, I propose to accumulate
damages at that rate.
I shall charge 5,000 pounds sterling for this
letter.
Yours sincerely,
William Boyd
